Buda Castle is the historical castle and palace complex of the Hungarian kings in Budapest. It was first completed in 1265, although the massive Baroque palace today occupying most of the site was built between 1749 and 1769.

The Hungarian State Opera House (Hungarian: Magyar Állami Operaház) is a neo-Renaissance opera house located in central Budapest, on Andrássy út. Originally known as the Hungarian Royal Opera House, it was designed by Miklós Ybl, a major figure of 19th-century Hungarian architecture.

Visegrád is situated north of Budapest on the right bank of the Danube in the Danube Bend. From the Upper Castle you can have a stunning view of the Danube Bend. Both castles (Upper Castle and Lower Castle) played an important role in the history of Hungary. The Upper Castle hosted the Congress of Visegrád in 1335, signifying the prosperous alliance of the Checz, Polish and Hungarian kings.
